We don’t like high product prices, back orders, or limited selection either

Sky high roofing material prices… Product availability issues… Limited selection…

Ughhh!

We don’t like it either!

More than a year ago, we wrote about high costs and product availability issues caused by COVID-19 related problems which affected almost all consumer products.

And unfortunately, the supply chain situation hasn’t really improved a whole lot. In fact, in some cases, it’s worse.

But in the current climate, the causes are different. Now it’s record high inflation, inability of companies to hire enough help, coupled with ridiculous gas and petroleum prices increase costs to manufacture and to deliver the roofing materials, windows, and siding products that we provide to you.

For sure, it makes it tougher to provide accurate estimates for your project because suppliers change pricing and availability constantly.

And sure… Every once in a while, someone gets a little frustrated with us because of unanticipated changes. And we get it.

But I want you to know we’re doing the best we can to provide you what you want and/or need for the price we quote.

We’ll be completely honest and up front with you, but we do have to include some necessary “small print” in our contracts to cover the unfortunate changes in price and availability that occur.

So please keep that in mind when we estimate your roofing, siding, or windows project.

The Bottom Line: This whole economic situation makes it more difficult to do our job, but as always, we’re committed to doing the best job for you that we can.

Obviously we can’t control the price increases, material delays, or availability of products, and we don’t like it, either.

But we will communicate both the good and bad news to you.
