Torrential rains causing thousands of dollars in damage?

By Kim Cox:

Phew… To say that Maryland has endured its share of torrential, heavy, flooding rains lately would be an understatement.

No doubt it’s caused thousands of dollars of damage to many homes in the area.

And if the gutters and downspouts on your home are correctly installed and not plugged up, chances are you didn’t have any water damage to your home or landscaping.

Wait… You do have gutters, don’t you?

FYI… Here’s what a correctly placed downspout looks like during a torrential rainstorm.

Why? Because the roof water is draining away from the house, not draining on the lawn or flower beds…

Think about it for a second.

A well-maintained gutter system isn’t there just for looks – it provides many benefits, such as:

  • Preventing washed out lawns, flower beds, and landscaping features
  • Keeping the thousands of gallons of roof water run-off away from your foundation and your basement
  • Preventing water buildup under your home’s siding and windows so you they don’t rot out
  • Keeping you from getting soaked going in or out of your house when it’s raining cats and dogs

And if you don’t have one, then you may be in danger of losing your beautiful landscape to a washed out pile of dirt, or even worse, a flooded basement.

Surely you don’t want those problems.

A professionally installed seamless gutter system will save the day, and your home!

Whether your home is in Frederick, or Silver Spring, over to Columbia, Maryland, or any community in between, we can help!
